In The Know: US physicians rank Gilead as clear leader in hepatitis C medical affairs team satisfaction

Effective interaction with healthcare professionals remains a cornerstone of the medical affairs function, and physician feedback on team performance is vital for honing future operations. In the latest hepatitis C physician survey, 100 US-based infectious disease specialists were asked to rate their experience of medical affairs teams in respect of eight competing drugs (see Table 1).

When asked to rank the overall quality of interactions with medical affairs teams, physicians ranked three Gilead products in first, second and third place. Responses indicate that overall, physicians are moderately satisfied with medical affairs services, with Harvoni leading on eight key medical affairs attributes.
